The 8 weeks you finally do the work
One real goal, a plan we build with you, and a small group that will keep you focused
1:1 Coaching • No Coursework • Full year in The Division
THe hard truth
You’ve taken the courses.
You’ve got the frameworks and templates.
Knowing was never the hard part.
Doing it was. Until now.
Having a slow summer? This is your unfair advantage.
Most summers the work goes quiet. Europe's on holiday, the inbox goes sleepy, the client who was "so excited to start in June" goes dark until September. It's easy to read that as a verdict on you. It isn't. It's just July.
While the whole industry coasts for three months, you get a wide open runway with almost nobody racing you for it.
Everyone naps. You move.

How this works

The kickoff 1:1
A 30-minute call, just you and one of us. We set one real goal for the eight weeks. Then, we both leave with one assignment: build a plan of attack just for you.
The first group call
You walk in with your plan. We walk in with ours. We've done this long enough to know the road, so we hand you a roadmap that merges the two.
Every week after
The Fellowship asks two questions. What got done? What's next? That's the whole engine. Just a standing call with people who won't let you off the hook.
Eight weeks from now
You are measurably further down the road.
Not “inspired.” Not “motivated.”
Actual movement, with the work to show for it.

Here's why this exists, plainly.
Between us, Steph and I have spent over a decade helping creatives build a real business around their craft. In that time we've watched thousands of brilliant people get stuck in the exact same place.
Not stuck on what to do. Stuck on doing it.
I know that place better than I'd like to admit. I've got a personal website I started seven years ago that still isn't finished. Hard drives full of work nobody's ever seen. For most of my life my own head told me I wasn't ready yet, that I needed to be a little better first...
So I didn't even try.
The thing that finally broke that loop for me was never another course. It was people. A reason to show up.
Somebody who was going to ask how it went.
That's the whole idea behind Off-Season. A short, hard, eight-week push, the kind you use sparingly and then rest. A room that will not let you abandon the quest. And the two of us in it with you, every single week.
That's also why we cap it at 20. You get real attention from both of us, not a stadium. We'd rather do this right for a small room than half-do it for a big one.
We built it together. We run it together.
Come build with us while everyone else is at the beach.
Ben and Steph

I doubled my last year's revenue. I am capable of so much more than I ever imagined.

I just signed a 5-figure retainer contract as fractional CBO of a startup I'd been doing a one-off branding project for. Maker Division??? More like Maker Multiplication! $$$

Last week, one of my clients referred me to a friend, and two other clients entrusted me with new projects. I'm now juggling multiple projects.

After spending many years as a corporate designer, it was not an easy task for me to figure out my way forward as a solopeneur. Accelerator has helped me peel the layers of the onion—finding my authentic voice, visualizing what I want for my future, and focusing on each step I need to take to make it happen.

This is for you if...

You’ve Watched videos, took courses, learned material
…and nothing shipped. You've realized that knowing what to do was never the hard part. Doing it is.
Getting things done for your clients is easy
…but getting things done for your own studio isn't. When the deadline disappears, momentum does too.
The quiet summer has you wondering if it's just you
…it isn't. Most summers go quiet. That's the opening. The opportunity. Not a verdict on you.
You’ve tried every productivity hack under the sun
…and yet your to-do list never shrinks. Sometimes the solution isn’t another tool. It's people who care.
Let's get to work
Don't spend another summer wondering if it’s you.
Eight weeks. One goal. An incredible group of humans.

I booked a client I’ve been wanting to work with for 5 years. It's a $4K job for now, with more work for them in the future.

I received an email confirming a job I made a proposal for was going ahead. It's a four-figure job, my biggest portrait project to date.
QUESTIONS & Answers
I'm brand new. Am I in over my head?
No. This was built for you as much as anyone. You start where you are, we set a realistic goal on your kickoff call, and the whole point is that you're not doing it alone.
I already graduated from the Division. What's here for me?
The thing you've been missing since you finished: a reason to keep moving and people who'll hold you to it. Set your own goal at kickoff and use the eight weeks to ship instead of drift.
What if I fall behind?
You won't get kicked out and you won't get shamed. The whole machine is built to catch you when you stall. You say "I didn't get to it this week," and we help you find the next smallest step. If you miss a weekly call, you'll get a text message from Steph or Ben directly.
How much time per week does this take?
Budget the two weekly calls plus real work time on your goal. A few focused hours a week moves the needle. If you genuinely can't give it any hours this summer, wait for a season when you can.
Why only 20 seats?
Because every person gets a 1:1 and a real seat in the Fellowship, where we know your name and your goal. Past 20, the attention gets thin and the whole thing stops working. A bigger room would make us more money and serve you worse, so we're not doing it.
Is there a refund? Guarantee?
No, and we'll be straight with you. All sales are final. A seat in a 20-person room is a seat nobody else can have. So only grab one if you're genuinely ready to show up. If you are, we'll be right there with you the whole way.
Can I set my own goal instead of something in the Division?
Yes. Most people pick the next module or two because it's the cleanest way to make progress. But bring a portfolio piece, a pricing system, a real deliverable, and we'll build the plan around it.
What happens after the eight weeks?
You've still got the rest of your free year of Maker Division, plus that second 1:1 to recalibrate. Finish the eight weeks and you earn the capstone. Hit your goal and you earn a seat at the fall retreat. The eight weeks are the push. The year is the runway.
Why now? Why summer?
Because summer is exactly when this is needed and exactly when nobody offers it. The slow season is the cheapest time to get ahead. We finish before things typically pick up client-side in the fall, so you come out of the quiet ahead instead of behind.
When does this start?
Off-Season is an 8-week cohort that starts on July 14 and ends on September 2. Here's how the schedule will work:
- July 1: Doors Open
- July 11: Doors Close
- July 14-16: Scheduled 1:1 Calls
- July 22: First Fellowship Call
- Weekly Fellowship Calls begin
- September 2: Last Fellowship Call
- Use your recalibration 1:1 call any time in the next year
Every fellowship call is recorded and uploaded after, so you can revisit it anytime during your access window.
WHAT IF I’M UNABLE TO ATTEND THE Calls LIVE?
If you miss a call, no big deal. But you will get a text message from Steph or Ben, where we'll ask you to check in with what you’ve done and what is up next. Miss two calls in a row and you risk removal from the cohort.
What exactly am I getting?
Here's what Off-Season includes:
- The Fellowship. A second weekly call, accountability only, hosted by Ben and Steph. This is the heart of the whole thing. You say what you got done, you say what's next, and you watch a room of people do the same. It's amazing what you'll do for yourself once you know somebody's going to ask.
- The Roadmap. We build you a custom roadmap for the next 8 weeks based on your goal. Step by step, this roadmap is a completely custom artifact - no two roadmaps will be the same.
- The Kickoff Call. A 30-minute kickoff 1:1. Just you and one of us, at the start. We set your goal together and you leave knowing exactly what these eight weeks are for.
- The Recalibration Call. A second 1:1 later in the year. A recalibration call, months down the road, to tune up the plan once the quiet season ends and life moves again.
- A full year in The Division. Included free. The course, the community, the weekly coaching, all of it, for a year. After year one it renews annually, you can cancel anytime before it renews, and we'll always remind you before you're billed. No surprise charges.
How does access work after I sign up?
As soon as you join, you’ll get access to your account. Inside, you’ll find: the community, links to the live sessions, and the replays afterward. Everything lives in one place.
Is this only for Designers? Videographers?
No. It's for any creative trying to make forward momentum in their career, whatever your craft. Designer, videographer, photographer, writer, illustrator, the engine is the same, because what stalls people is never the medium. It's the doing. Even if you've got a full time job, even if you haven't started yet, we're here to help you move.
I have a question that's not answered here.
Send an email to support@makerdivision.com and we’ll be happy to help. All we ask is for patience getting back to you over the weekend.

Landed my first 5-figure client. Agreement signed, 50% deposit paid. No questions asked. I am very motivated. This is just the beginning.

I followed the outreach emails strategy and landed an $11K client. You’ll get your ROI and some.

I have completed a project that I had only dreamed of before, for one of my favorite UFC fighters.
