Stephanie Owens is a lettering artist, educator, and co-founder of Maker Division. She helps creatives build studios with a point of view by developing their creative identity and creating work that's unmistakably their own.
Recipient of the Agatha Christie Master Teacher Award — living her best murderino life — and an educator with more than two decades of experience, Stephanie has helped thousands of creatives build sustainable careers while staying true to the work they want to make.
She's also the creator of Metalliquor, an original multimedia project that translates the feeling of iconic songs into handcrafted cocktails, custom lettering, and cinematic storytelling. She believes the most interesting creative work happens when you stop choosing between the parts of yourself that other people think don't belong together.
After a long day in the studio, Stephanie can usually be found jamming on one of her many guitars (the sparklier the better), chasing the next great rock show, or sharing a cocktail with her husband while their two pups supervise the charcuterie board.
